Ayesha Curry is one of the most famous wives in the NBA (she’s married to Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry), but you’ll never hear the 28-year-old mother of two call herself that.

“Obviously I’m a mom and wife first. Those are the two most important titles…I don’t think I’ll ever call myself that (an NBA wife),” she told Nightline. “I mean, I don’t think my husband would call himself ‘chef’s wife.’”
And before you turn your nose up at her statement, let’s break down the facts.
Yes, she is married to the two-time NBA champ, BUT this Curry is also the owner of Ayesha Curry Home Collection. a culinary line sold at JCPenney.
And she’s the host of two shows, Ayesha’s Home Kitchen on the Food Network AND The Great American Baking Show. But that’s not all, she just opened her flagship restaurant International Smoke in San Francisco, which is her third location.
Oh. And how could we forget she’s also a CoverGirl.
Obviously keeping her identity outside of her superstar husband is important — and we’re not mad at it!
