Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy tugged on our heart strings in every episode of A Different World in their legendary roles of Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert.
2. Synclaire & Overton
These two were made for each other. Kim Coles, John Henton’s characters Synclaire and Overton in Living Single gave us one of the most heartfelt love tales ever seen on television.
3. Florida & James Evans
Good Times wouldn’t have been as good without Florida and James. We learned many lessons from John Amos and Esther Rolle.
4. Carl & Harriette
Reginald VelJohnson and his co-star Jo Marie Payton definitely showed us why “Family Matters” in their roles. Harriette kept Carl in check along with their three children.
5. George & Louise
Ok, sure, George wasn’t the friendliest person, but you can’t say he didn’t love his wife, Weezy. This unforgettable couple who “moved on up” to Manhattan’s Upper East Side kept us laughing.
