1. ANTI

Rihanna made us wait 3 years for this album and it didn’t disappoint! We got to wine our waists all summer with songs like “Work”, feel super sexy with “Kiss It Better” and tap into our inner savage with “You Needed Me.”
2. The Life of Pablo

This album not only came with really cool denim jackets (i.e the pop-up shop in Soho) but pushed music boundaries by putting different artists together on the same track (“Ultralight Beam”)…and that “Fade” music video? Made gym memberships sky-rocket.
3. LEMONADE

We heard so much talk about the album that made us subscribe to HBO, give Jay Z the side-eye, and gave us a reason to (over)use the lemon emoji.
4. A SEAT AT THE TABLE

Who knew that there was another talented Knowles sister? This album came out of nowhere and made us feel so proud of our kinky texture (and dared you to touch it) while making us realize that we too were “Cranes in the Sky.”
5. VIEWS

This album made us discover that Canada may not be such a boring place after all and that a party wasn’t a party if the DJ didn’t play “Controlla.” …and that Drake is infatuated with Caribbean culture.
