SNEAK PEEK: Chef Jernard Visits Melba’s in Harlem!

Melba’s is a Harlem staple, known for serving up classics like fried chicken and mac and cheese. But it’s her signature dishes—like the A.S.A.P. Yams and chicken and eggnog waffles—that truly pay tribute to her beloved Harlem roots. What sets Melba apart is that she never forgets where she comes from; both she and her restaurant are proudly “born, bred, and buttered” in Harlem. In response to the pandemic, Melba found yet another way to celebrate her community by blending food, music, and fashion through her Summer Streets series. Every Sunday, Melba’s hosts a lively block party where locals gather to enjoy great food, live music and performances, and celebrate Harlem’s vibrant spirit. #SavorTheCity airs Thursdays at 8p/7c on TV One!
